Salt and Sacrifice is the future sequel to 2016 Soulslike Salt and Bema, one of the best-received of the embryonic Soulslike games. Developers Ska Studios consume posted 10 minutes of gameplay from the current, in-development build of the game, showing off an armored warrior bashing, sliding, slashing, and wall-jumping their elbow room around an environs populated by spooky, spectral warriors and very, really large glowing wizards.
In earnest, deal those wizards at 1:20, and at 6:20. Those are big wizards. And so one comes punt later and just starts throwing fire everywhere. Notably, it's also throwing fire at other enemies. And then at least we've got that expiration for us as we go some quest that most wonderful of messages: "Mage Devoured."
Salt and Sacrifice was declared good over a week agone at the kickoff event for the Summertime Game Fest. You rear read about that right on PC Gamer, along with a few pick quotes from the developers. The original game was on our 2019 inclination of best Souls-like games on PC.
It's a first look at the sequel victorian, absent trailer-type editing, where players bequeath strike on a sprawling 2D, side-scrolling environment as one of eight classes—Highblade, Hero, Assassin, Cleric, Dualist, Fighter, Ranger, or Salvia. Sadly, the gameplay doesn't give the States a view the new skill tree.
Salt and Sacrifice will support some singleplayer and pearl-in, drop-away multiplayer, likewise as multiplayer factions including the cooperative focused Dawnlight Order and the player-killing Cerement Alliance. Salt and Sacrifice is confirmed for Personal computer, launching in early 2022.
